Everyone wants success in blogging, but it’s never easy. Why? Because you are competing with more than eighty million blogs worldwide that also want success. Freelancers that are new to blogging, have to work extra hard so that their blogs can steadily rise up the Google Page Rankings. So annoying, isn’t it? Maybe you thought that they are shortcuts to success! But the reality is that there are no rich quick schemes in blog success. In order to succeed in blogging here are some tips that can guide you to success.
Get To Know Your Self Before Creating Your Blog
This is very important to your success in the blogging world. Getting to know your self-will help analyze your strengths and weaknesses. Once you have identified your strengths, then you can create your blog. You will get attention from visitors only when your blog has valuable and useful information.
Select Your Niche
According to the Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary, a niche is a comfortable or suitable role, job or way of life. For example, if you like soccer then you can write articles about soccer. Choosing your niche depends on several factors; like will your niche attract traffic to your blog or is it on demand that people Google it a lot? The most popular areas that bloggers focus on creating a niche are online earnings, freelance jobs, technology, fitness and health. The niche or area that you select is highly competitive because at least one million online users have selected similar niches. Therefore you must work extra hard to become successful.
Create Your Blog
Creating your blog is quite simple. You can create your blog through Blogger or WordPress. Personally, I use Blogger because it’s a product of Google. Therefore you will have an added advantage of creating a blog via Blogger than WordPress. I am not saying that WordPress is bad, my mentor created his blogs using WordPress. After four years of hard work, his WordPress blogs are now giving him a source of steady income.
Create Quality Content in Your Blog
You are new to the blogging world. There is no way you will write quality posts or articles initially. You will start by writing poor quality posts then with time you shall improve. Remember, to improve on quality you must develop a habit of reading online articles. For example, John wants to write an article about blog success tips. He must read blogs that have written about blog success tips to get ideas on what to write about. After getting the ideas, John will write his quality article or post, publish it then online users will comment on his article. Never copy someone elses article, Google will penalize you. Every blogger is unique and you must find your own style of writing articles.
